April Moore, OTR/L

April, the mother of three grown children and grandmother to three has settled in Pittsboro after many moves with her husband's military career. Now an empty-nester, she brings her professional expertise in pediatric occupational therapy to families in and around the Triangle. April received her bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. She has a passion for working with children in areas of sensory processing disorders, self and emotional - regulation,  autism, ADHD, gross and fine motor deficiencies, as well as developmental delays. Seeing the importance of addressing the whole child, April's goal is to see growth not only in the children she is working with, but also the families by partnering with them in the therapeutic process. April loves biking, hiking, and traveling with her husband and is active in her church community.
